Waiting for God

In many ways, the following verses from Psalm 27 are the cry of my heart in this season of Lent:

13 I remain confident of this:                                                                                                              Water lily
I will see the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living.
14 Wait for the Lord;
be strong and take heart
and wait for the Lord.

For me, I sit in waiting for God to show me the places in my life where I have resisted God’s way. I long to see the goodness of the Lord consume my life in the land of the living. And so, I wait. I wait for God to reveal those places to me (the list we are working on is intimidating already) and I trust that God will come with redemption.
