A Prayer to Remember with Grace

Loving God,

Today will You help us to remember?

May You bring back to our collective conciousness our sorrow, our fear, and our hope.              http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Trade_Center

May we celebrate heroes, pray for shattered families, and ask for peace.

But God, will You ground us first in grace? In mercy?

Will You please call us to pray for those who persecute us?

Will You please move us to pursue peace?

Will You please teach our hearts to forgive?
