Broken Cisterns

13 “My people have committed two sins:                                                                                                          Waterfall
They have forsaken me,
the spring of living water,
and have dug their own cisterns,
broken cisterns that cannot hold water.

These haunting words from Jeremiah 2 bring to my heart again this question I wrestle with:

Where am I resisting you, God?

I don’t want to hold on to broken cisterns that don’t hold water. I only want living water.
